Preserving Maritime History: Jim Tondu’s Replica of the Minnehaha
Thanks to Jim Tondu’s generous donation, Camp Arcadia is proud to display a hand-made replica of the Minnehaha. For almost nine months, Jim Tondu worked to craft the model that we now have on display above the fireplace inside the Inn Lobby.

Peter’s short message was so inspirational and precisely what I needed on this very grey, dull February day. I might just have to dust off my guitar and re-kindle my passion again. When I was a kid at camp….decades ago when names like Unger and Zedes were on staff, the guys who played guitar and lead the singing during youth group and vespers had an impact on me in ways they’ll never know. Music, Food and Togetherness IS the Arcadia experience and I thank God for this incredibly beautiful sacred place.
