Summer Teen Retreats
What to Expect
At Camp Arcadia Teen Retreats, our ministry goal is to assist, encourage, and challenge teens to live and grow as God’s people in a Christian community. The Alpha and Omega Teen Retreats are offered in June each year. The Alpha retreat is directed towards teens going into 8th, 9th, or 10th grade and the Omega retreat is directed towards teens going into 11th, 12th, or recent graduates.
Bring a Friend!
If you bring a friend with you to Alpha Retreat who did not attend last year, both you and your friend will receive an exclusive RKD gift package that includes a Teen Retreat theme t-shirt (“the counselor shirt”), free Trading Post treats and other Camp merch!
You and your friend(s!) must register by May 1st to qualify for this promotion. Your friend should mark the “Bring a Friend Promotion” section on their registration form and list your name. Reach out to the Camp Office if you and a friend are already registered or if you have any questions. You are not going to want to miss out on this!
Teen Retreats
Alpha
Alpha Retreat is for incoming 8th – 10th graders. Led by a pastor, licensed counselor, and adult group leader volunteers, teens are invited to “be a kid again!” – to play hard, laugh lots, and stay curious about their faith surrounded by Christian community.
*10th Graders can choose either the Alpha or Omega Retreat.
Teens will spend a week with Pastor Travis Hartjen and adult counselors, being challenged to grow in a living and meaningful walk with Jesus. Lots of fun activities, time to learn, and the opportunity to make new friends make this retreat an awesome experience.

Omega
Omega Retreat is for incoming 10th graders – students who just graduated from high school. Led by a pastor, licensed counselor, and adult group leader volunteers, teens are challenged to explore their faith through discussion, build long-lasting friendships within Christian community, and enjoy a “disconnected” week of vacation – away from their phones and busy schedules.
*10th Graders can choose either the Alpha or Omega Retreat.
Teens will spend a week with Pastor Matt Popovits and adult counselors, exploring the interaction between faith and life’s circumstances, concerns and conflicts. This is not advanced Sunday School, but a week of deepening faith in Jesus Christ and strengthening relationships with the Lord and with each other.
