“Twenty-five years ago, Jane came home and asked me if I wanted to go to ‘Church Camp’ for our summer vacation. My first reaction was, “Attend church for a whole week? You have to be kidding!”
Upon arrival and our first meal introductions, one lady said she had been coming to Camp for 43 years. My first thought was either she didn’t have a life OR this must be the best camp on earth… It didn’t take long for us to find out it was the best camp of all, and 25 years later, we still think that.
It didn’t take long for us to find out it was the best camp of all, and 25 years later, we still think that.
Because Camp has given our family so many great traditions and memories, we decided to allocate some funds in our will to pass on to Camp. This decision was really a ‘no-brainer,’ since Camp had become ‘a part of our family.’ You really can’t repay what we all experienced here and continue to enjoy. It’s the least we could do to keep this great ministry going for others to enjoy as well.
I know my whole family feels that way. If you asked them to outline some of the highlights of their lives, Camp Arcadia would be at the top of the list.
Attend church for a whole week? I wouldn’t miss it!”
