Every summer at Camp Arcadia leaves a lasting impact, whether it’s on the guests who arrive seeking rest and renewal, or on the staff who pour their hearts into creating that experience. The relationships formed here, the shared rhythms of service, and the moments of growth that happen along the shores of Lake Michigan stay with our staff long after their summer ends. Whether you served one summer or many, your time on staff is part of a legacy that continues to shape Camp’s ministry today. These connections matter, and they deserve a place to continue growing.
This summer, Camp Arcadia set a goal to strengthen our professional network and expand our presence on LinkedIn. We believe that investing in the connections between current and former staff is one of the most meaningful ways to do that. Today, we’re excited to announce the launch of the Camp Arcadia Summer Staff Alumni Group on LinkedIn: a private, professional community designed to help staff stay connected, share their journeys, and continue the story of the ministry that shaped them.
The staff community at Camp has always been one of the most powerful parts of our ministry. Staffers arrive from different states, backgrounds, and seasons of life, yet they quickly become more than just a team by working side by side, worshiping together, laughing through long days, and forming friendships that often last far beyond the summer. Guests feel this community too. They see it in the joy of service, the warmth of hospitality, and the way staff care for one another. Strengthening these connections doesn’t just benefit our staff alumni; it strengthens Camp’s ministry as a whole.
Our new LinkedIn group is a natural extension of that community. It offers a space where former staffers can reconnect with the people who shaped their summers, and where current staff can stay connected as they move into new schools, careers, and callings. It’s a place to share stories, celebrate milestones, support one another professionally, and stay rooted in the shared experience of serving together at Camp Arcadia. Most importantly, it’s a way to continue the relationships that make Camp such a special place.
We invite all current and former summer staffers to join us as we begin building this network.
If you are not yet following Camp Arcadia on LinkedIn, you can do so at www.linkedin.com/company/camp-arcadia.

Whether you worked in the kitchen, housekeeping, program, media, or anywhere else for one summer or many, your story is part of Camp’s story, and we would love to stay connected with you.
This group is just the beginning. As it grows, we hope it becomes a place where staff encourage one another, share opportunities, celebrate the impact of their time at Camp, and continue living out the values they learned here. The community built during a summer at Camp Arcadia is something rare and meaningful. Now, it has a home that lasts all year long.
We’re grateful for every staffer who has been part of Camp’s ministry, and we’re excited to continue the journey with you.

Isabella is completing a Media & Communications internship at Camp Arcadia this summer. She will be a junior at Indiana University, studying Marketing and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Media & Creative Advertising. Throughout her internship, Isabella worked on a wide range of storytelling and digital media projects, from weekly photography/videography and social content to engaging with summer staff alumni. This summer, she connected with former staff members to gather their stories, strengthen Camp’s professional network, and prepare a new series of staff highlights that will begin rolling out on LinkedIn in the coming weeks.
