Recharge at the Arcadia Men’s Retreat 2026

Ready to step away from the relentless demands of daily life and focus on what matters most? The Arcadia Men’s Retreat (October 2–4) offers a powerful weekend to pause, recharge, and refocus. Whether you need quiet reflection for a new season or space to unwind, join us along the shores of Lake Michigan to strengthen your faith, connect with other Christian men, and delight in God’s creation.

Grow Deeper in Your Faith

This retreat offers men intentional time to focus on their spiritual life through teaching and worship.

  • Speaker: Rev. Dr. Chad Foster will lead sessions exploring the deep connections between Scripture’s language, geography, and numbers. An engaging speaker with rich insight into the Hebrew language and Jewish culture, Dr. Foster is both an ordained LCMS pastor and an ordained rabbi. He currently serves as Senior Pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Macomb, MI.
  • Retreat Chaplain: Rev. Bill Yonker will give devotions and lead worship, as well as provide pastoral care throughout the weekend. A former Dean of the Omega Teen Retreat for many years, Pastor Yonker is widely known for his powerful storytelling and deep love for Jesus. He currently serves as Senior Pastor at Immanuel Lutheran Church in East Dundee, IL.

Connect with Other Men

Build trust and strengthen friendships by engaging in conversations about faith and life, playing games, or simply hanging out together around a campfire.

Did You Know?

According to a 2021 Survey, only 27% of men have six or more close friends, compared to 55% in 1990. The rate of men with no close friends has increased from 3% to 15%—a decline that peaks during mid-life when family and work pressures take precedence. Take the time to reverse this trend and invest in your relationships.

Unplug, Rest, and Play in God’s Creation

Take a break from your digital devices and enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. Activities include:

  • Mountain biking through Northern Michigan woods
  • Kayaking on Lake Michigan
  • Pickleball, disc golf, and cornhole
  • Optional: Arrive early on Thursday to golf at local courses on Friday

Be Renewed in Spirit, Mind, and Body

True renewal occurs when we step out of our everyday routines and immerse ourselves in a Christian community. We encounter God, see more clearly how He is active in our lives, and return home encouraged and strengthened for our families and work.

Spots are still available for October 2–4! We’d love to have you join us.
