Teens who will be entering 9th or 10th grade will spend a week with Rev. Travis Hartjen (Austin, TX) and adult counselors being challenged to grow in a living and meaningful walk with Jesus. The Camp Arcadia Alpha Retreat has been a priority through Camp Arcadia’s 90 years because teens are so important to the future of Christianity. We hear from campers and parents every year about how transforming the Arcadia Teen Retreat was in their faith journey. Through very fun activities, quieter times of learning, meeting new friends, and meaningful worship the 2012 Alpha Teen Retreat will be one of the most important events of the year for teens. FAQ

Rev. Travis Hartjen Austin, TX
Travis Hartjen is currently serving as a Mission Plant Pastor in Allen, TX. Travis was on staff at RKD the summers of ’93-’95 where he worked in the kitchen and on the program staff. In addition to his current ministry, Travis has had the opportunity to speak at youth conferences, teen weekends and camps in the Texas area for over ten years and looks forward to coming back “home” to Camp Arcadia.
