Here is chef Kurt’s recipe for green beans with garlic and ginger for you to enjoy.
Asian Green Beans with Garlic-Ginger Sauce Recipe
Beans prepared this way are often featured in Asian restaurants. Though Camp has never featured this recipe before, look for them on the menu in 2012. They might pair nicely with roasted pork and redskin potatoes. Please provide feedback on Facebook or by emailing Kurt.

Very fun! I lived in Indonesia many years –i usually make this for just the two of us by cutting up a few cloves of garlic and one shallot –just sauteing those in olive oil and adding a bit of oyster sauce at the end….but this is a nice recipe for a crowd of my asian friends!
Janet, Mmmmmm… that also sounds very nice. Thanks for the note. – kurt
Hi Kurt
I’ve not tried these yet, recipe just came this morning but it sounds good and interesting. Always like something new in veggies. Do you think I could reproduce it with frozen beans this time of year?
Barb, You could try frozen beans. Let me know how it works! -Kurt
Thanks for the luscious monthly recipes; I soooo look forward to them because they are usually easy and quick. AND the pictures help too! The scones last month were wonderful and have been sharing the origin with many.

The Asian Green Beans recipe sounds great. I will try it. I made the granola mix for company as well as the chocolate chip granola cookies, and they made a great hit!
