We are excited to announce that we not only met but exceeded our 2014 Annual Campaign goal! This year’s goal was $225,000. $125,000 of that was for improvement projects and $100,000 for the general budget to keep rates affordable and offer financial scholarships. With $50,000 allocated from the Camp’s savings we needed to raise $175,000. With your generous support we ended up raising $188,000 for a total of $238,000.
We give thanks to God for all of the support and for the families that offered the $25,000 matching opportunity. It really encouraged others to give and allowed us to set a record for our year-end appeal. By achieving our goal we are able to fully fund the completion of the ball field bathrooms; craft shop improvements (new siding, windows, and a ventilation and heat system) and the Juniper kitchen rehab. The excess funds will be reinvested in Camp Arcadia’s ministry.
