Dear LCA Members,
From weathering the storms of beach erosion to mitigating rising water levels to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are grateful to God and thankful for you, our community, who have helped us navigate these recent crises. We are blessed to be in a place where we can look forward proactively – strategically thinking about the opportunities ahead.
In Fall 2021, we started the strategic planning process with Camp Arcadia’s staff, the LCA Board and several community stakeholders to assess the opportunities and challenges that Camp could face in the years to come.
Over the past three years, the LCA Board and staff have gathered input from guests and community members at weekly development updates at Camp and individual meetings, using your input to refine our plans for Camp’s future and looking at each opportunity through the lens of Camp’s vision, mission and organizational values. All this has led to the creation of a Master Land Use and Facilities Plan called Spirit of Arcadia: Growing Together.
