Camp Arcadia is excited to announce that Kyle DeWees will be Camp Arcadia’s first full-time program director. He will begin January 1, 2011. Kyle has a long history with Camp Arcadia. He served four summers on staff, with two of them as the summer program director and one off-season as the program intern. In the past three years he has been serving as a youth director for a church in the Cleveland area. Kyle has also been serving as a high school soccer coach and as recreation and work crew director for an Ohio Christian camp. Kyle is engaged to Leah Maier and will be getting married at Camp Arcadia this fall.
Kyle, reflecting on his future with Camp Arcadia, “I consider it a true blessing to have the opportunity to join the outstanding management team at Camp Arcadia. Knowing that I get to work and serve at RKD – a place that is special to so many – I consider it a real honor. God has provided an opportunity for Leah and I to be a part of an incredible ministry in Camp Arcadia and I am looking forward to embracing it fully!”
Camp is excited to welcome Kyle to the team. Kyle’s passion and enthusiasm for serving others will be a great addition to Camp Arcadia’s staff.
