A couple months ago, we shared postings for two new positions at Camp Arcadia – Executive Sous Chef and Promotional Assistant. Today, we wanted to follow up and introduce you to the two newest members of the Camp Arcadia team.
Both positions were designed as part of Camp Arcadia’s strategic plan. Both will add capacity and expertise to their respective departments, and we’re thankful for the ways they will bless Camp as part of our team. A huge thank you to the many capable and qualified individuals who applied and interviewed for both of these positions!

The Executive Sous Chef position is a seasonal position, serving to stabilize kitchen operations and provide culinary leadership for our summer staff.

- Favorite Camp Activity: Ultimate Frisbee
- Favorite Trading Post Treat: IBC Root Beer and either a Scoop of Superman or a Strawberry Shake
Being recently graduated with my degree in Culinary Arts from Scott Community College, I couldn’t be more excited to come back to a place I can gladly call a second home. I served as a staffer back in 2018 and 2019 season in the kitchen and housekeeping. What drove me to apply was really the opportunity to give back to Camp for what this community has done for me and couldn’t be more excited again to be in a leadership position for the other staffers.

I am so thrilled about having the opportunity to serve Camp in this position. When I first came to Camp as a kid, I was obsessed with the Craft Shop (I still am!) and I believe the hours I've spent there over the years have led me to choose a creative career path. I have always loved serving Camp, and in the past I was part of End of Season program staff (2017) and worked at a few Opening Weekends. This role was the perfect opportunity to use my education and professional skills to continue to serve Camp. I've been fortunate to travel all over the world, but there's nothing like that feeling of coming back to Arcadia.
