The members of the Lutheran Camp Association (LCA) are preparing to vote on Camp Arcadia’s facility master plan, Spirit of Arcadia: Building for the Future, either through electronic voting or in person at the November 12 LCA annual meeting in St. Joseph, MI. Phase one of the plan addresses Camp Arcadia’s growing issue of beach erosion. To learn more about these plans, please visit our website.
In an effort to inform our membership and to answer any questions concerning the beach project, Camp Arcadia is hosting a webinar with the coastal engineers who have developed the solution outlined in our facility master plan on October 4 at 8:30 PM EDT.
During the webinar Chip May, executive director, and Stan Scheumann, LCA board president, will describe the conceptual plans, and Bill Brose and Jack Cox of SmithGroupJJR will answer your questions about our beach plan.
We are soliciting any questions you may have to be answered live during our webinar. To submit a question, please email Chip at chip@camp-arcadia.com. Please submit questions by September 26.
