The Alpha Teen Retreat is for teens who will be entering 9th or 10th grade in the fall of 2013. They will spend a week with Rev. Travis Hartjen (Austin, TX) and adult counselors being challenged to grow in a living and meaningful walk with Jesus. The friendships are always more special.”[/box]The Camp Arcadia Alpha Retreat has been a priority through Camp Arcadia’s 91 years because teens are so important to the future of Christianity. We hear from campers and parents every year about how transforming the Arcadia Teen Retreat was in their faith journey. Through very fun activities, quieter times of learning, meeting new friends, and meaningful worship the 2013 Alpha Teen Retreat will be one of the most important events of the year for teens.

Rev. Travis Hartjen Austin, TX
Travis Hartjen has over 14 years of ministry experience serving as a director of Christian education – youth minister and now is a pastor at Water’s Edge in Allen, TX. He has had the chance to speak across the nation at various youth gatherings and training events, where he blends the truth of God with humor and stories from his own life. His wife and four kids love coming to Camp Arcadia every year to laugh, play, and to get to know the campers.
