Camp Arcadia is starting our search for a new Assistant Director (AD). Our current AD, Jess Knoll, will be moving on after the season ends in October. (Read more about this.) While we are saddened to see Jess go, we are excited for who God will provide to fill this position.
We are looking for someone with experience in managing people, creating and maintaining systems for staff and operations, and developing and nurturing college-aged young adults. They need to have robust communication skills – verbal and written. They also need to have a strong Christian faith that informs their vocation.
The AD plays a key role in fulfilling Camp’s mission. They are responsible for coordinating Camp’s in-season operations, seasonal staff management, and working with the summer program director to provide leadership and direction for Camp’s programs and retreats.
Application Process
Send your resume and cover letter to Chip May, Executive Director at chip@camp-arcadia.com. Please reach out to Chip if you have any questions about the position or candidates to recommend. We will start interviews in October. The earliest the AD would start is January 2025.
