New Operations Director-Tyler Schlitzkus

Camp Arcadia is excited to welcome Tyler Schlitzkus onto the management team family, as the new Operations Director. Tyler is from Gladwin, MI where he has served for the last seven years as the Director of Youth and Young Families at Our Savior Lutheran Church. In 2012 Tyler graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education, from Concordia University Ann Arbor. Tyler and his wife Adreienne have two young daughters, Bobbie Jo (3) and Isadora (1).

“Bobbie Jo, Isadora, Adrienne, and I are elated and humbled at this opportunity to join the Camp Arcadia family. Jesus is surely working through Camp’s ministry and it is our prayer that we might lend a hand in moving it forward. We are excited for this upcoming season and are ready to jump right in. On a personal note, we are grateful to all of those who have offered advice, sent us messages, and assisted us throughout this entire process. Arcadia is one-of-a-kind and we can’t wait to begin, not only, our Camp involvement but involvement within the greater community. See you all soon!” -Remarked Tyler

Tyler will officially be joining the rest of the management team on March 1st.

He brings with him a heart for connecting with college-age young adults, extensive experience in creating media content, as well as supervision and management skills. Above all, Tyler is an energetic leader that is driven in his faith and to help others know Jesus’ life-giving grace and forgiveness. I look forward to working with Tyler and welcoming his family to Camp Arcadia” said Chip May, Executive Director.
