Working on staff:
Each year, around 42 young adults are selected to be the Camp Arcadia Summer Staff, working from mid-May through mid-August. Positions are available in the areas of kitchen, housekeeping, program, caretaking, office, archives and media (photo & video production). If you are offered a position on staff, we will follow up with you with an internship agreement that sets expectations of the role, responsibilities and goals.
Full Season Staff:
Those who are recent college graduates, students taking time off from college, or working young adults are great candidates for Full Season Staff. Working from just before Memorial Day weekend through the end of October, Full Season Staff can work in any of the Camp departments. They start the season learning and bonding with the Summer Staff, but by mid-August they become staff leaders as we transition from Summer to Fall Staff. Often, the Full Season Staff are eligible for leadership positions in the summer and/or fall. The breadth of experiences gained is great as they often fill many roles throughout the organization as staffing needs arise. Full Season Staff are eligible for the bonus program. We have need for up to ten Full Season Staff.
Those thinking about working as part of the Camp Arcadia staff, should know that it is:
