The Arcadia Foundation is pleased to announce a partnership with SFC Estate Coaching to provide a complimentary will and estate planning service to the Camp Arcadia family. With the help of a reliable and experienced estate coach, each individual or family will have the opportunity to develop an estate plan, providing guidance for loved ones in handling finances and other assets after the Lord calls you home. Once you have prepared the plan, you’ll be able to take it directly to an estate lawyer to have it legally instated according to your state’s laws.
This process is confidential, and no details of your estate plan will be shared with Camp Arcadia without your express permission. Of course, we’d love for you to consider leaving a gift to the Arcadia Foundation as you plan your will or trust.

Why is it good to have a will or trust?
- You decide which family or friends will receive your assets. Otherwise, the court may give assets to people you may not have intended to include in your estate plan.
- If you have minor children (under the age of 18), it protects them from being placed in guardianship through the court’s decision.
- It stops beneficiaries from overpaying in taxes. With just a little planning, you can reduce much or even all of your federal, state or inheritance taxes within your estate.
- It eliminates the stress of making decisions, which can cause conflicts, for your family members.
Did you know…
Between 55-65% of individuals and families don’t have a will or estate plan. Whether you are 21 or 81, it’s wise to plan ahead for your assets and loved ones by creating a will or trust. Without one, your loved ones could face tax burdens, and courts could be left to make important decisions for you, including guardianship of any minor(s) in your care.
Moreover, while 94.5% of Americans are charitable during their lifetime, less than 10% include a charitable component within their will or estate plan.
