Working on staff at Camp Arcadia is extremely rewarding.  You lodge, eat, work, and play in an intentional Christian community.  Experiences are filled with unexpected adventures, friendships, revelations, blessings, and challenges.

There are  5 types of employment positions available at Camp Arcadia.

1. Full-Time Staff — Currently there are four full-time staff at Camp Arcadia.  They are the Executive Director, Assistant Director and Chef, Business Director and Facilities Director.
2. Summer Staff — Approximately 36 people who work from Memorial Day through mid – August. Application priority date is February 8, but applications may still be mailed after that date.
3. Full Season Summer Staff — These are select persons that are able to work for the entire season — May 28 – end of October.  Generally, these are recent college graduates and interns.  Camp Arcadia is willing to consider a wide variety internship placements.  In the past we have had interns work in the office, kitchen, Trading Post, program, and caretaking.  The application process is the same as the summer staff application process.
4. Teen Week Counselors — Approximately 30 adult counselors for our week-long teen weeks (8th & 9th Grade Retreat: June 13 – 19 and the 9 – 11 Grade Retreat June 20 – 26).  Counselors work for one week periods. Counselors work with groups of eight to 11 teens.  The application priority date is February 8th.
5. End-of-Season Staff — Approximately 30 people ranging in age from teens to retired  work mid-August to October. Workers usually stay between one and four weeks.  We start accepting applications in January.  We hire end of season staff that stay for a weekend or a few weeks, but preference is given to staff that can stay for a longer period of time.
